Gerri Hill is usually one of my go to reads for Lesbian Fiction. I enjoy her character's, "Love Waits", "The Killing Room", "No Strings Attached", and "Artist's Dream". This story has no character development. By page 40 you know how this cliche of a lesbian relationship is going to end and you don't even care. Don't recommend a purchase not even as an e book. She has so many others to choose from that you would enjoy.Product details

Gerri Hill has quickly became one of my favorite authors. The only thing I would change is new books more frequently and/or sequels to the already existing books. I feel like I know each of the characters in her books and this one was no exception. Now if only I could find a Fat Larry shirt...
I have read everything that Gerri Hill has written and will continue to eagerly await the next book! This author has the unique ability to make her characters truly come alive and have you totally invested in them from page one! Pelican's Landing is no exception and Jordan and Annie's story is a lovely read. If you have never read a Gerri Hill book, then you are missing out on something special and I heartily recommend trying one - I guarantee that you will be hooked for life!
I can honestly say I have never read a Gerri Hill book I didn't like and this one is at the top of my list. The story is so good and you just get swept away by the emotions that the characters experience. I would definitely recommend this one.
I must say that reading Annie and Jordan story, I can't wait to fall in love again. I've had love I. My life but I can't wait to have another experience like that again. Loving someone makes life worthwhile, meaningful. Life is too short not to share your hopes and dreams with that one person that causes butterflies in the pit of your stomach. Thanks Gerri Hill. You bought love in my heart again.
I'm working my way through all of Hill's books and this was near the bottom of my list. The title and cover make it seem boring, and the synopsis is really non-existant. But this is absolutely one of her best. I mean, bordering on Sam and Tori great, for those of you that have read the Hunter books. It's got some elements I have yet to see in any other Hill book (or really any lesbian romance by any author) and while it does follow the typical plot you can find in all her books, it isn't so blatantly cookie cutter. I loved it. I'll read it again for sure. Don't overlook this one!
I've read all of Gerri Hill's books, but I put off buying this one because I thought the cover made it look boring. (Which I'll admit is dumb, but seriously the cover makes it seem like a pretentious period movie with British people discussing their estates.)
Anyway, the cover mislead me because this book was extremely interesting, fun, and has a very fascinating premise that the book description on the back cover does not explain at all. Why is the book synopsis so vague?? I would have bought this sooner if I actually understood what it was about.
Yes it is an easy read. Yes it is a true romance ending. Yes many would say no real depth based on many of Ms Hill's other GREAT more deep plots, BUT I loved this story. It was a feel good, took an afternoon/evening, just made you smile, kind of read. Made you fall in love with the Texas gulf and just an 'oh how I wish I could have this life' kind of fantasy. From some in a high pressure kind of job, thank you it was a fun read. Will always auto buy your books!! Pls keep them coming...and if I may be so bold, more of your Hunter/Sam, CJ/Paige books!!
